For the eighth release in the Master Blender Collection, Mount Gay Master Blender Trudiann Branker chose to highlight the influence of tropically ageing rum in casks that previously held cognac.

The result is a rich and opulent blend that reveals layers of flavour with every sip. On the nose, The Cognac Cask Expression rum offers an inviting bouquet of red fruits, vanilla, leather, and a touch of orange zest. The palate is a harmonious medley of cherry, salted caramel, brown sugar, and oak. The long finish carries a pleasant sweetness, underscored by the signature dryness imparted by the French oak casks.
