Barrell Bourbon New Year 2027 Limited Edition 750mL
Barrell Bourbon New Year 2027 Limited Edition celebrates the coming year through a blend of straight bourbon whiskeys sourced from seven states. Crafted and bottled in Kentucky, this annual release combines different ages, mash bills, and maturation environments to explore the diversity of American bourbon.
The 2027 blend includes Indiana bourbons aged 7, 8, 9, and 10 years; Kentucky bourbons aged 7 and 8 years; Tennessee bourbons aged 10 and 16 years; 13-year-old Wyoming bourbon; Maryland bourbons aged 7 and 8 years; and 5-year-old bourbons from Texas and Ohio. These are the ages of the individual components, rather than a 16-year age statement for the finished whiskey.
Matured in American white oak barrels and bottled at cask strength, the release comes in at 115.34 proof. Its producer-confirmed derived mash bill is 73% corn, 22% rye, 4% malted barley, and 1% wheat. Published retail tasting descriptions emphasize caramel, vanilla, dark fruit, and baking spice, while the updated commemorative label gives the bottle a festive identity for holiday gifting and New Year’s celebrations.
