Yakushima’s humid island climate shapes this smoky Mars blended malt. Fruitcake and banana-leaf aromas meet peat, almonds and citrus candy, giving the fourth Y.A. release a lively contrast between tropical richness and smoke.

Fruitcake and wood smoke; peat and toasted nuts; saltwater taffy and candied lemon on the finish.

Pairing & serving

Try neat with a few drops of water. Pair with smoked fish, grilled pineapple or salted almonds.

After opening & when to enjoy

Store upright, tightly closed, away from heat and sunlight. Ready to enjoy now; spirits do not continue barrel aging in the bottle. After opening, aim to enjoy within about a year for the freshest flavor, especially as the bottle empties.

No decanting is needed.
