Earthy peat smoke, creamy butterscotch and citrus define Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch 13. Bottled at 58.6% ABV, this Glengyle single malt combines mostly bourbon-cask maturation with a smaller sherry-cask component.

Flavor profile

Intense peat, butterscotch, banana and citrus with an oily texture.

Pairing & serving

Add water gradually to a neat pour. Try smoked cheese, grilled mushrooms or dark chocolate. No decanting is needed.

After opening & when to enjoy

Keep upright, tightly closed, away from heat and sunlight. The spirit is ready to enjoy and does not continue barrel aging in the bottle. After opening, aim to enjoy within about a year for the freshest aroma, especially as the bottle empties.
