Port Charlotte PMC:01 is a peated Islay single malt shaped by Pomerol wine casks. The sixth Cask Exploration release uses the wine-cask treatment to add fruit and oak complexity to the smoky malt.

Pairing & serving

Serve neat and add water slowly. Pair with smoked duck or roasted mushrooms. No decanting is needed.

After opening & when to enjoy

Keep upright, tightly closed, away from heat and sunlight. The spirit is ready to enjoy and does not continue barrel aging in the bottle. After opening, aim to enjoy within about a year for the freshest aroma, especially as the bottle empties.
