Akashi White Oak combines lightly peated malt with wheat and rye whiskies, bringing several cask traditions into one Japanese blend. Bourbon, sherry and shochu casks are part of the maturation described for this bottling.

Pairing & serving

Try neat or in a highball with plenty of ice and chilled soda. Pair with yakitori or lightly salted nuts.

After opening & when to enjoy

Keep upright, tightly closed, away from heat and sunlight. The spirit is ready to enjoy and does not continue barrel aging in the bottle. After opening, aim to enjoy within about a year for the freshest aroma, especially as the bottle empties.
