On the palate, this is ripe, slightly sweet with black raspberries and plums. A bit of spice. Firm tannins. Long finish. This is accessible now but will improve as the tannins and fruit integrate.
This is the new vintage of Clio, a top-notch Spanish red wine from DO Jumilla. The wine is produced by Bodegas El Nido from a blend of old, almost centenary Monastrell vines and a lesser part of Cabernet Sauvignon.
