Loukatos Bros Co. distillery was founded by brothers Loukatos in 1962 and was one of the first distilleries in Patras and the general region of Greece. The first productions of brothers Loukatos were Ouzo, Brandy and of course the traditional liqueur of Patras, Tentoura. Today the company has evolved and is dynamic. It is located in the industrial area of Patras and is now in the hands of the second generation. The sons of N. Loukatos, George and Theofanis, continue producing the time honored recipes of ouzo and a wide range of liqueurs, including an array of Greek wines.

The company's objective was and still is the absolute success and consolidation of our products worldwide. The quality of our products is guaranteed and ensured by their insistence for continuous checking of the raw materials we use and the strict rules we follow during the production.

This is a strong grape pomace distillate similar to that of Grappa. Originally introduced in the 14th century by the monks at Mount Athos. Chilled or not, it can be enjoyed best with appetizers or "meze"
