Chateau d'Yquem 2017 375mL

In 2017, Chateau d' Yquem was very fortunate to be totally spared by the frost on the 25th of April. The summer was the fourth hottest since 1897, with the growing season occurring one month earlier than usual. High pressure set in during the first half of September and lasted one month, resulting in outstanding picking conditions and a tremendous concentration of berries. 

Between the 26th of September and the 9th of October, eleven days of intense harvesting took place in the estate's finest terroirs at just the right moment. In total, three successive passes were required. The 2017 vintage is a tremendous success, worth of the finest Sauternes ending in 7.
