Cantina Bonacchi, founded in 1965, is a family owned winery that is situated in the heart of the Montalbano Hills, that lie between the towns of Florence and Pistoia in Tuscany, Italy. They have been making fine Tuscan wines for 3 generations. They also vinify grapes grown under their supervision in other regions of Italy.
The family owns 40 hectares of vineyards in the Chianti Montalbano and Chianti Classico Gallo Nero as well as 10 hectares divided between Brunello DOCG, Rosso di Montalcino DOC and the Sant'Antino DOC, and 15 hectares from Montecucco DOC vines. Their Brunellos win many awards and score highly in wine ratings.
Bonacchi's combined production comprises 60,000 HL stored in barrels, barriques, oak tonnaux and modern steel tanks.
