This wine comes from the French district of Mâconnais (south of Burgundy) which is famous for its Chardonnay wines. The terroir of the flinty sands and clays often mixed with calcium rich rocks or sandstone pebbles is responsible for its powerful palate. The nose is floral and fruity with aromas of white roses, honeysuckle, acacia, grapefruit and oranges. Its sufficient acidity ensures its qualities. Powerful finish leaves a very fresh and pleasant aftertaste.
